Thicket Goods · Last updated 6 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Thicket Goods handles data in connection with our software application "Boardroom TikTok" and our website. Thicket Goods is a sole-trader business operated by Tokelo Mogorosi in the United Kingdom, registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under the data protection fee (registration reference available on request).

1. What the application does

"Boardroom TikTok" connects to TikTok's official developer APIs to access advertising and commercial-content data (such as publicly listed ad creatives and aggregate performance metrics) for our own internal product and market research. It is an internal business tool. It is not a consumer-facing application and does not offer accounts or logins to third parties.

2. Information we access and process

Through this application we access publicly available advertising and commercial-content information made available by TikTok via its APIs. We do not collect, store, or process the personal data of TikTok users through this application. We do not build user profiles, and we do not use the application to contact any individual.

3. Information you give us directly

If you contact us by email, we process the contact details and message content you provide solely to respond to you. We do not use this for marketing without your consent.

4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)

Where we process any personal data, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating and improving our business, and, where you contact us, performance of steps at your request. We do not sell personal data.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent data. We use TikTok's APIs in accordance with TikTok's Developer Terms and Platform policies. We may use reputable infrastructure providers (such as hosting and cloud services) that process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

6. Retention

We keep research data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, and any direct correspondence only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk). To exercise any right, contact us using the details below.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
